About Faces Entertainment's June 2017 Newsletter

Sunshine and Summertime!
Book a fun, interactive fortune teller like Susanne S for your event!
The sound of water splashing and the scent of chlorine fill the warm air as you kick back with some of your friends. Yet as you look around, you feel there's something missing. You quickly spot the problem: there's nothing to do. Not a face painter or caricature artist in sight to occupy the crowd. Before long, the discomfort increases and small talk stalls. The first pool party is a bore, and all for the simple thing you overlooked: Entertainment.
Don't make the same mistake your hypothetical self made. Call 1-800-92-FUNNY or reply to this email to book your summer entertainment today!
Holidays to Spend With About Faces
This is a waffle we made for our mom on Mother's Day.
In some ways, June is very unique. It marks the start of summer and end of school season. Yet at the same time, June is just another month... chock full of weird, bizzare, and awesomely strange holidays!*
Take June 29th, National Waffle Iron Day. Mmm, a nice Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream...
Or maybe June 3rd, Repeat Day. Wait, wasn't that June 2nd?
June 16th is Fresh Veggies Day, but on June 17 we're back at the usual struggle, with Eat Your Vegetables Day.
So many chances to party! It's high time to grab a cup of Iced Tea (June 10th), stop Monkeying Around (June 14th) and celebrate!

Featured Entertainer: Marcela F!!

Here's the inside scoop from Marcela herself!

I provide natural henna designs for birthdays, baby showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, bridal showers, weddings, photoshoots, corporate events, and company picnics. I also do henna crowns for people who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy or alopecia.

My first contact with henna was 14 years ago. My current husband came to Argentina to meet me, and he brought a packet of henna to mix and apply to his hair. I had no idea how to mix it or what it was. 2012 is the year I really got into henna. I got bridal henna done in India, and when I came back to the US, I decided to start practicing. I buy Indian spices at a local store, and one day, the girl at the cash register asked me to do bridal henna for her sister in law. That was my first big experience, and I realized that I really love applying henna. In 2014, I started working on my own.

The coolest event I have ever worked at was a top secret gig to do henna for a private university CEO. He was dared to get a My Little Pony tattoo on his shoulder!

I also love the college carnivals. It's so much fun to do hand after hand and create so many different pieces.

I want my clients to know that I do henna with love and passion. I have spent hours and hours practicing in order to master the art. I take classes to continually improve my skills. Also, safety is my priority, so I only use natural ingredients in my henna paste.
