Carl has been drawing cartoons since he was 5 years old. He learned to read by reading comic books and strips. Overtime, he developed a love for cartoon and comics by repeatedly drawing the cartoons he watched on television and the comics he read in the newspapers. Carl was active in Elementary, Jr High, and High school drawing his teachers in a comic style and contributing to various school publications and events. Whenever the school needed an artist for a project, Carl was called upon. He took correspondence art courses during this time and did very well.Eventually, Carl applied and was hired to start drawing caricatures at an amusement park. Since 2002, Carl has been drawing caricatures at amusement parks. He has also drawn caricatures at many events and for various projects. Carl has had his cartoon strip published in community newspapers. He is currently a member of the International Society of Caricature Artists.
